Reports and Enquiries

One of the benefits of running an accounting system is

that you can get good information on how your business
is performing. MoneyWorks comes with a lot of reports
(and, in MoneyWorks Gold, the ability to create your own).
To run a report, select the desired report from the Reports
menu or from the Navigator. When a report is run, a
Settings window will normally be displayed, allowing
you to determine how the report should be prepared.
The settings available will depend on the report.

Quick Start Guide 23

Reports can previewed, printed, emailed, or opened
directly in other applications such as Excel or Numbers.
Use the Output To… menu to direct output to the desired
location.
To include the effect of Unposted transactions, set the
Include Unposted option—such reports should not be
regarded as final.
Accounting reports are normally time-based. Use the
Period pop-up menu to select the accounting period in
which to run the report. Where there is a From and To
period, a separate report will normally be prepared for
each period.
