Explanation

- The pretensions of pure theoretical reason to attain metaphysical truths beyond to applied
theoretical reason (between truth or lies)

Ex: it is morally wrong to lie, therefore if I will tell the truth to this person, in some circumstance the
consequent might say “I will tell the truth in this situation, because if I lie this person may not trust or
help me in the future.

- Kant argued that the moral law is a truth of reason. and hence that all rational creatures by
some moral law thus answer the question “what should I do”

- Kant moral philosophy focus on fairness and the value of the individual
