Listen and draw
Aim: To develop students’ memory; reading, dictating, listening and writing skills
Procedure: Cut the sheet with Master Cat, or the one of your choice, cut it into ten pieces and stick the pieces
all over the classroom walls. Divide the students into pairs, one of whom is A and the other is B. Each pair
must have a sheet of paper and a pen. First partner A runs around in the classroom to find (one by one) all
pieces of the text marked with A, runs back to the partner and dictates them to the partner. Shouting out
the text is not allowed. When the first partner has found and dictated all five pieces, partner B starts running
around to find the pieces of the text marked with B and dictates them to the partner. When students forget the
text they have read on the wall, they go back to the wall and read the piece again.
Finally the partners work together to put the parts of the text into the correct order to form the song and sing along.

Procedure:
You will introduce the words SUPER MAGICAL THOUGHTS so you make sure all understand the meaning.
Use readers’ Theatre techniques to read the song as a script.
Role play it.
Finally play the song and invite students to act it out as in a musical play.
Enjoy and have fun.
Note: you can use props such as boots, sun glasses, a cape, a hat with a feather, a magic wand to play the
role of Master Cat.

Procedure:
1. Show cards with the following pictures and present the vocabulary.
2. Give out as many sheets as students you have. Tell your students they will have to circle the word they
hear to the corresponding picture.
Once they have finished, encourage students to sing along and say the words that they have circled before.
