School is starting, I hope everyone is ready. The summer went by way to fast. We did have fun, going to the Washington Pavilion and Wild Water West. BFLF have several new faces in our program. Thank you to all for welcoming them into our family. A big thank you to the Friends of the Program for their help at Wild Water West . You all did a fantastic job keeping the kids on task and in their groups. Thanks to your help, I was able for the first time in 6 years able to get in the water and participate with my group of kids. Wild Water West was . Well.. WILD!!!!!!!! We filled the 49 capacity bus. Broke into groups, Swam, Slid down slides, Bumped on boats, crashed in cars. Rode with the waves, walked on alligators, and ran around the pirate cove. We ate pizza and pop and went back and did it all again. Whew! We were all tired on the bus ride home. Thank you to all the chaperones, parents, mentors, and Friends of the program that helped with this event. You made an empact.
