My name is Brittany Clift. I teach History to 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students.

This is my fourth-year
teaching. I received my Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas Christian University. I received
my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Studies from St Mary's College of California. While
receiving my credential I student taught at Ygnacio Valley High School and El Dorado Middle School. After
graduating I taught high school for one year. For the last three years, I have been teaching at a private
school. I love being able to connect the past to the present and illustrate to students how important it is
to understand our histories. I love incorporating technology into the classroom to help students grow in
their learning and understanding of technology. I encourage students to question the world around them
so they may be lifelong learners. Having a positive classroom is very important to me and is something I
strive for every day. I look forward to speaking to you more about positions that may become available.
