Rapid growth of confidence and trust of city dwellers in "Bashundhara". The growing population
of Dhaka, the apparently slow growth of housing, led to the groundbreaking success of

including manufacturing and business. More enterprises were established in the early 1990's,
covering various activities involving the production of cement, paper and pulp, tissue paper, LPG
bottling and distribution, and the production of a trading company, among others. The group has
experienced this remarkable growth in less than 10 years. During this time, additional schemes
on land development and real estate were introduced, and those projects focused more on
increasing responsiveness to client needs. The first publicly traded company of the group,
Meghna Cement Mills Limited, is currently listed on two stock exchanges in Bangladesh. The

center group. BCDL is one step ahead in its long-term endeavor to strengthen relationships with
the general public by offering unique commercial activities and entertainment facilities under a
single roof. By listening to client's needs, learning real-time lessons from past projects, the group
has come a long way in reaching its goals through innovation and partnership in its project
implementation process. Through major investment initiatives in all important sectors,
