Leadership Experience

 JV Softball Head Coach (2022-now)


 Girls’ Flag Football Club Advisor (2023-now)

I will develop my leadership in Professional Development

 GOAL:  To become a mentor for a new teacher.


 RATIONALE: There are many benefits to being a mentor, including career

 NBPTS: Proposition 5: Teachers are members of learning communities.
 TLMD: Domain 3. Promoting Professional Learning for Continuous Improvement.
 OBJECTIVE: Serve as a mentor for a new teacher in a credential program
(short/long-term).

I will develop my leadership in Curriculum

 GOAL:  To be an active participant/contributor during Rigorous Curriculum


Design (RCD) next year.
 RATIONALE: Our school is currently in the process of going through RCD which
is a model for redesigning curriculum so that it truly represents a rigorous 21st-century set of
comprehensive units of study aligned with existing state and the new Common Core State

 NBPTS: Proposition 2: Teachers know the subject they teach and how to teach
those subjects to students.
 TLMD: Domain 2: Accesses and Uses Research to Improve Practice and Student
Learning
 OBJECTIVE: To work collaboratively with other geometry teachers in our district
to redesign the curriculum. (short-term)

I will develop my leadership in School

 GOAL:  To start a girls’ flag football program.


 RATIONALE: Sports are vital to schools and being a coach as well as a teacher
fosters camaraderie with students.
