the Main effects of Global Warming

 The bulk of the world's scientific community is in agreement that our planet is becoming.
 The effects of global warming affect not only humans and animals but also nature.
 These facts endanger our lives and the planet

Variations in the Sun's Intensity

The Earth receives its warmth from the sun, so it's reasonable to suspect that our home star may be one of the reasons
for global warming. Although the amount of energy coming from the sun does vary and may have been responsible
for warming in the past, however, NASA and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have ruled this
out as a cause of the current warming trend.

Agricultural Activity
The agricultural practices that produce food for the people on earth is another of the human causes of climate change.
The use of both commercial and organic fertilizers releases nitrous oxide, a powerful greenhouse gas. Methane,
another important greenhouse gas, comes from many natural sources, but also from the digestive systems of livestock
raised for meat production as well as the decomposition of waste in landfills and the burning of biomass.
In Romania, the increase of the average annual temperatures by over 1-2ºC, will have as a first consequence
aridization of the southern and plain areas, but especially of the hilly areas, which can determine
the appearance of unfavorable conditions for the forest vegetation. In the medium term it is possible
dismantling of trees in the hill area

Melting glaciers
Why is this phenomenon so dangerous? Because the accelerated melting of glaciers, especially those in
Greenland and Antarctica, will raise sea and ocean levels to a critical point for the planet. The data show that
the level of the planet's ocean will rise, on average, by almost one millimeter per year. And by the end of this
century, it will grow by about a meter and flood low-lying cities, destroying beaches and property.

Changing Rain and Snow Patterns

As temperatures rise and the air becomes warmer, more moisture evaporates from land and water into the
atmosphere. More moisture in the air generally means we can expect more rain and snow (called
precipitation) and more heavy downpours. But this extra precipitation is not spread evenly around the globe,
and some places might actually get less precipitation than they used to get. That's because climate change
causes shifts in air and ocean currents, which can change weather patterns.

Too little or too much water can be a problem. In many places, people depend on rain and snowmelt to fill
lakes and streams and provide a source of water for drinking, watering crops, and other uses. However,
heavy rain can cause flooding.
