Grade 9 Einstein A learners aimed to improve their mastery of the lesson by doing
performance task and comprehension. To do this, they are able to have remedial teaching and
re -assessment from the intervention made by the grade 9 science teacher, which is
appropriate
to their level.

III. RESULTS:
Based on the intervention conducted , there are 22 out 26 in grade 9 Einstein A
developed and improved their mastery and comprehensive skills on how to determine the
percentage composition of a compound given its chemical formula and vice versa .The Mean
Percentage Score before is 43% which increases to 67.2% as an evident that there is an
improvement.
IV. RECOMMENDATION
The basic premise of remediation through Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) is to help
students to ' catch-up' to their peers and thus prevent ongoing academic issues using
supplementary learning resources that learners can engage in. When students fall behind, a
gap opens between their abilities and that of their peers.
Science 9 teacher addressed the learning gaps of the grade 9 Einstein A learners by
giving Learners Activity sheets as a sort of remediation about the lesson on how to determine
the percentage composition of a compound given its chemical formula and vice versa.
This implies that giving LAS to the Grade 9 Einstein A learners is effective to develop
and improve. Therefore, the said remediation will be implemented to all grade 9 learners in
the next school year.
