PARICA OIC Dean, Graduate School URS - Pililla Dear Dr, Parica, Greetings in the name of public service! Quality education does not always mean learning inside the classroom. Learning outside the classroom is like unclipping one’s wings and letting him explore an enormous engaging horizon to learn practical knowledge and improve skills in a whole creative way. The world itself is a classroom giving priceless experiences and in return gives wisdom for things that are difficult to figure out and remember in the classroom are much easier in the outside world learning practically and learning with the help of different authentic examples. There’s no way you can decipher the real applications of economics and politics in education through a book, on a website, or over the phone like visiting a school does. School site visits allow us to scout the collective brain trust and receive new inspiration and technical know-how since it provides everyone with wins experience. Real-world learning brings the benefits of formal and informal education together and reinforces what good educationalists have always known: that the most meaningful learning occurs through acquiring knowledge and skills through real-life, practical, or hands-on activities. As we want to discern and examine how the concepts, principles, and applications of economics and politics complement the current education trends during post-pandemic and make sure that our students get the best education and stay in an environment that is conducive to learning, we are planning to conduct a school visitation. In connection with this, we would like to seek permission from your good office to consent us to officially visit Sto. Nino Integrated School, headed by Mrs. Adoracion Valdez ~ Head Teacher III, on December 3, 2022, for we are inspired to ascertain how economics and politics interplay in the said school by way of complementing and supplementing one another towards making a sound education system. This significant activity would also allow us to benchmark the best applications of the principles of economics and politics, and practices on the programs which were found effective in the said school and make innovations commensurate with the immediate need of their respective learners. During the school visitation, we could observe the principles and application of economics and politics in education, and how it interplays by way of complementing and supplementing one another towards making a sound education system. In addition, we could provide an analysis of academic views on the processes of economics and politics in education. We would also recommend improvements to the existing or implemented policies, and possible solutions to the identified problems in the economic and political aspects of education in the school as an application of the wisdom learned and competencies acquired in EM 402. We will also have a vast opportunity to adapt superb pedagogical and excellent management practices which we can apply in our respective stations. Rest assured that IATF Minimum Health Standards will be strictly observed during the school visit. We are confident that by directly seeing the school’s application of economics and politics towards making a sound education system and best practices in action, we will profoundly understand the salient roles of schools in offering the highest quality of education amidst the COVID-19 post- pandemic. We enclosed the names of Doctor of Philosophy major in Educational Management students under EM 402 - Economics and Politics of Education class who will partake in the school visitation, working committees, and some more information about the said activity for you to look through and hope that you might be interested in finding out more. We hope that this request will merit your most favorable and positive response. This will surely benefit not just the school community but also the community that our schools envision shaping. Your help will surely make a difference and will be appreciated. ‘Thank you very much. More power and Godspeed! Sincerely, MA. |.
