Installation notes

Battery
I recommend not moving anything out of the 'SP1200_Vol2_Samples' folder. A good place to put this
would be the 'Battery 3 Library' folder.

EXS24
Put the '00-SP1200_Vol2_EXS24' folder here:
User/user name/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments ....or wherever the Logic
manual indicates.
If Logic is running make sure you 'Refresh Menu' in EXS-24. Otherwise the '00-SP1200_Vol2_EXS24'
folder won't show up. The sample folder can go anywhere you want.

Kontakt
I recommend not moving anything out of the 'SP1200_Vol2_Samples' folder. A good place to put this
could be the 'Kontakt 3 Library' or 'Kontakt 4 Library' folder.

The SP-12 is the SP 1200's Daddy. It has preset

drums stored on ROM and also user sampling.
Very similar sound and function to the SP1200.
12 bit grit with those tasty analog filters.
 All the photos in this PDF are of the actual SP 1200 and SP-12 used to create the SP1200 Vol 2.
These units are in superb condition both physically and sonically. Truly wonderful 12 bit drum machines!
Trouble shooting and Tips

Battery

1- "This patch was generated by a newer version of Kontakt. Please upgrade your copy to load the patch"
If you get this error message then you will need to upgrade to the latest version of Battery 3.

2- If Battery can't find the samples use the 'Browse folder' function to find the 'SP1200Vol2_Samples' folder
and then select it. Remember to re-save the patch when you have done this...

General tips for all formats

The kits only use a fraction of the samples contained in this product. So there are plenty more sounds for you
to customize those kits or even make your own.

I have included patches for single drums as well. These are a good way to explore all the samples quickly.
