As a fourth-year student, I have the opportunity to further develop my skills and knowledge. I have
become aware of the various career options available in the field I am currently interested in and would
like to pursue each one. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages that may favor one over the
other. However, I feel that it is vital to learn more about all of them before making a decision about
where you want to focus your career path.

I would like to enumerate some career goals and define the kind of profession or career that I wish to
pursue after graduation. While pursuing a degree in internal auditing, it takes me to realize that it would
lead me to commercial companies most likely located in metropolitan cities, such as SGV & Co., PWC,
KPMG, UNILEVER, and the Bureau of Immigration Head Office. I would be able to perform duties
including internal controls and audits on their financial statements, computer systems as well as other
organizational records. These are some opportunities that internal auditing students can pursue after
graduation.

To be an internal Auditing student, I understand the critical role an auditor plays in a company, the
responsibility they carry, and the impact their work can have on others. The job will give me a chance to
make a difference. Second, my education and experience make me an excellent asset to the company.
But I lacked the skills that I wanted to acquire to achieve my career goals, such as a proper mindset,
utilizing time wisely, and developing my leadership traits. To reach this goal, I am going to have to
master all the courses necessary for me to become a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). This will require
studying and staying motivated for hours every day.
