    Moriones - is a lenten festival held ammutally on Holy Week on the Island of


    "MARINDOQUE"

    - THE "MORIONES" Are man and women in costumes and mask replicating the garb of
    biblical Imperial and royal roman Soldier as in intrepreted by locals.
    - The moriones tradition has impired the creation of the other festival in the
    philippines where cultural practice is turned into street festival

    Manunggul Jar - is a secondary burial jar excavated from a "neolithic" burial site
    in the "manunngul" cave of the "TABUN CAYES at LIPUAN POINT OF PALAWAN"

    -from 890 =710 B.C and the two prominent Figures at the top of it's cover represent
    the journey of the soul to the afterlife wearing basket as always been a
    traditional craft for the "IRAYA - MANGYANS OF PUERTO GALERA, ORIENTAL MINDORO"

    -RAW MATERIAL LIKE NITO - GRASS AND THICK DRIED FOREST WINES ARE LACED N A CIRCULAR
    MOTION THAT RESULT TO AN INTRICATE PATTERN SALELY DISTINCT TO THE TRIBE

    Ambahan - is a tradionally recorded on bamboo. It in inscribed in the material


    using "surat mangyan" an "indegenous" script predating the spaish colonial Era in
    the Philippines

    -Mangyan Poet ginaw bilog was recognized for the presentation of his people
    tradition in 1993 who also records the "ambohan" in a notebook

    MUSIC

    - In the highlands of "Luzon" music is related to different ocasions such as "ife


    cycle event" and "occopational activies" and "vartous rituals" During the
    agricultural "cycle peace pacts" courship "harrage" and death rutes "musical"
    performance may be witnessed in the region.
