Overview of Organisation

inspired by the soul of Oman and its people, SalamAir is the first low-
cost carrier based in Oman. The airline has established in 2016 and offer
low-cost flights, convenient travel options, and a verity of exciting
destinations worldwide.

Being a low-cost carrier means giving people the choice and flexibility
when shaping their journeys and offering a great experience. We want
more people to be able to travel more often without having to
compromise on their experience because of cost by providing an
alternative way to fly and let them choose the journey they want to have.

Our brand identity has been created to reflect the lush green landscapes
and soothing blue seascapes of Oman. Even our name “Salam” which
means greeting in Arabic, pays homage to Oman’s deep-rooted culture
and history and epitomizes the values of hospitality, confidence, and
drives towards innovation which is embedded in the culture of Oman.
This serves as a powerful and exciting platform to build from as we
redefine the sector of budget carriers - opening the skies for more
people to customize their travels without compromising on quality.

SalamAir was awarded Oman’s Most Trusted Brand 2021 and The
Youngest Fleet in Asia for 2021 and 2022 by Ch-Aviation. It operates six
A320neo, four A321neo, and one A321 freighter. With an expansion
plan to reach 30 aircraft in the next 5 years

SalamAir flies to domestic destinations, including Muscat, Salalah, and


Suhar, Duqm, Masirah, and international destinations to Dubai, Doha,
Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sarajevo, Istanbul,
Trabzon, Bursa, Kathmandu, Baku, Bangkok, Phuket, Prague, Shiraz,
Tehran, Alexandria, Khartoum, Multan, Sialkot, Karachi, Dhaka,
Chattogram, Jaipur, Trivandrum, and Lucknow. SalamAir flies directly
from Suhar to Shiraz, Salalah and Calicut, and Trabzon and from
Salalah to Calicut.

How does your organisation differ to your competitors? 


Youngest aircraft fleet in Asia and third in the world, tech savvy, Omani
Hospitality, Modern Aircraft, supporting digital transformation. Creative in
doing business by introducing untapped direct connection between
Muscat and new destinations such as Baku, Sarajevo, Shiraz,
Alexandria, Khartoum, Trabzon, Phuket, Bursa, Prague and more. Of of
the few airline globally introduced remote working that represent more
than 50% of non-operation team working remotely

The goal from the design project is to uplift the current logo to reflect the
meaning of our brand as “forward thinker “ the following need to be
accommodated

 2 colours without gradient
 include text and symbol
 Smooth and curvy rather than rough and Sharpe edges
It also should not be radical change from the current version and to be
seen as an enhance version
Aircraft livery

The current livery used include an elements ( pattern) form Oman , we would

like to maintain the usage for similar pattern or alternated with new one that

has the same spirit of Omani culture

E195-E2s)
 Fonts recommendation ( Arabic and English )
