having a high percentage of at-risk students in the area of Araling Panlipunan.

B. PBTs. It was mentioned during the last meeting that at least 3 PBTs must be given to the
student and try to integrate it into different subject so that it would be burden for the students
to make a lot of PBTs in the different subjects.

III. Agenda

1. Instructional Related Records (IRRs)

 Instructional Guide must be submitted every Monday for checking of the

Subject Area Coordinator. There will be a new IG Template to be used in 2 nd
Quarter wherein there will be an integration of technology included in the
guide.

 Course Outline and Curriculum Map that are not yet submitted must be
submitted on or before August 15, 2017. Course Outline must include the list
of performance tasks but no references while Curriculum Map must include
references (book or URL) but no performance tasks. It must also contain
technologies to be used in teaching the subject.

 Quarterly Plan must have a seamless transition of activities or competencies

leading to a performance task. Teachers must make sure that the topics,
activities, and competencies are related to each other. This quarterly plan
will replace the old Calendar of Activities where the teacher will simply put
the activities per day in the format.

 The schedule of Monthly Test was announced by the Area Coordinator. It will
be on July 17 – 28, 2017. The deadline of submission of test questionnaires
will be on July 7, 2017.
2. Values Integration may appear at any part of the lesson. The PAASCU observation
said that values was forcibly integrated at the end of the lesson. And so, the values
can be integrated at any part of the lesson. It can be integrated from the beginning or
in the middle of the discussion.

3. Class Monitoring and Observation

 Everyone was reminded that the beginning of formative assessment and

observation for teachers will begin on the Week 2 of 2 nd Quarter. Teachers
are reminded to prepare their new format of IG for monitoring and
observation.

4. Performance Task Integration

 Teachers are reminded to talk to other subject area teachers on which

subjects could collaborate for the same performance task. This is to avoid
complains coming from the parents about the overloaded performance tasks
given to the students.

 Teachers were also reminded that PBTs and Projects must be aligned in the
learning competencies given in the curriculum in order to create a useful
PBTs and Projects in the subject.

5. Nutrition Month Celebration

 The theme for this year’s nutrition month celebration was “Healthy Diet
Gawing Habit for Life”. The teachers were tasked to make an activity that is
significant and relatable to the current issues in our times. There will be an
awards given to those students who will excel in the different activities. It
was also discussed that there will be a Year Level Advocacy in relation to the
theme of the Nutrition Month.

 In the area of Araling Panlipunan, both campuses are tasked to make a trivia

Philippines, Asia and of the World.

6. Educational Trip

 Teachers were tasked to submit suggested activities in replacement for the

educational trip that are related to the subject area.

7. Protect Instruction Policy

 It was also discussed in the meeting the protection instruction policy. The
teachers were reminded of the following:

a. lessen the student interruptions of classes;

b. teacher must ask notes from the teacher or personnel excusing the
student from the class;

c. do not entertain students who would ask to be excused for invalid/

insignificant or not urgent reasons. This will cause interruption of the whole
class.

8. Problems and Concern/ Feedback of the 1st two weeks

 Mrs. Lapuz shared her feedback for the 1 st two weeks in Grade 2 Assembly.
Students were too noisy and too naughty. Their handwritings were similar to
that of Grade 1 students. There is no improvement seen from Grade 1 going
to Grade 2. Their reading skills were not good and not improve since they
were in Grade 1. Some students are noisy but can cope up with the lessons.
The solution is that teacher must focus on reading and writing skills of the
students with the help and support of the parents as partner for learning.
There must be also a mastery of basic especially in the case of Grade 7
students who are not yet familiar with the basic geographical skills that must
be learned while they are in Grades 4, 5 and 6.

III. Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 pm with Mr. Felix Ramirez leading the closing
prayer.
