These des@ execution alternatives have been marked in the table of contents 020, as well as in the
respective text sheet with (a). It is here necessaty to determine which design executive is actually
fitted.
Er@e componentsshownldescribed on pages marked with (0) may but notmuslbe fitte& (depend-
ing on the engine plant).

2. Required information for a spare part order

TO ensure that the enquiry or order respectively are correctly executed, the following indica-
tions are indispensable:
a) Ship’s name
h) Engine type, building year and maker
c) Cylinder or engine number .

d) Lksign execution (code sheet number) according to table of contents 020

e) Code number m denomination of parts
f) Quant@ of desired part
\ .._>- g) Classification society (only required for parts requiring acceptance by classification society)

(-1 The, indication of a complete code number is essential for a satisfactory spare

Remarks:

l Attention is drawn to diverse design execution alternatives. It is necessary to determine

which design execution has been fitted in the customer’s engine.

o Attention is drawn to special design executions. These engine components may but not
must be built-in (non-standard components).

(F) Attention is drawn to design executions of “STATIONARY” engines (DPP).
