The first full week of school flew by! We've been

busy learning each other's names, following classroom
rules and expectations, and learning our daily routines.
The students are doing a great job in learning all these
things and we will continue to work on it as time goes

Homework
Starting September 19 (Monday), we will be sending
your child a homework packet. The homework packet
will N·O T be graded, but we encourage students to
complete them for additional practice at home.
Homework packets will be distributed and collected
every Monday.

Class Snack Sign Up

Our class is in need of snacks. We would appreciate it if
we could have some families sign up for a week to bring
in snacks for the students. Please keep in mind that
snacks should be NUT-FREE. Thank you so much for

Personal Belongings
Please have your child's personal belongings
(backpacks, jackets, lunch bags, etc.) labeled with their
name·. Also, have your child bring their own water
bottles.

Looking Ahead:
Your child will receive a home book bag that contains books
they need to read according to their level and interest. The
books will change every week when they go "book shopping"
in our library. Please make sure to have your child bring their
home book bag to school every Monday.
