Assignments 1, 2 & 3
Your group will research how businesses are aligning with the UN Sustainable Development
Goals (UN SDGs). Identify, contact, and interview a leader/HR Manager/spokesperson to
determine how the chosen business integrates the UN SDGs into practices. During the
interview, seek to find out what are key initiatives the business has undertaken and what are
the impact of those. You have to draft your interview questions yourself, yet they should
cover the following key areas but not be limited to these,

1- How is the business integrating the UN SDGs into practices?

2- What are the key initiatives the business has undertaken and what is the impact of
those?
3- What are the most significant Organisational Behaviour (OB) challenges businesses
are facing when seeking alignment?

Working with a group of 4-5 students, you will research and analyse how business is
changing their practices, particularly OB practices to align with the UN SDGs. Your team
will then write a report outlining your research and analysis to present to an audience. 
Your report must include the following:

 Background of the organisation and outline of your report

 Summarise your findings on how business/OB practices are changing through
engagement with the UN SDGs
 Identify key theories to which your research links and why you believe the theory
is relevant in describing the findings
 Outline the recommendations your team would make to the business to improve
the alignment with the UN SDGs and improve their OB practices
 Provide a theory-based rationale for why you think this approach if implemented,
would improve the alignment and impact
 Reference list (minimum 10 scholarly references as per Harvard referencing style)

Assignment 1: Conduct an interview and submit the interview transcript

Word count: 2000 words maximum 10 pages
Assignment 3: Class Presentation

Marks: 10
Wordcount: maximum 20 slides with Peecha Kucha style

Be prepared to describe the UN SDGs at the beginning of the interview as the interviewee
