One, which many dread, is recess duty. Through the heat and cold Each of us weathers the storm. The veterans, like me, often wonder “How much longer?” I’m tired and worn out and question if I still make a difference anymore. On this day, some kindergarteners must have seen my dismay. In this one moment, REcess turned in to my REstoration, REason, and REjuvenation. From the hearts of children, I felt refreshed and renewed in my purpose.
