Topic: WHAT MAKES A GOOD ADVERT?
Aim: to improve skills at listening, writing, reading and speaking; to read different
opinions on what makes a good advert; to learn vocabulary connected with
advertising; to listen to people describing adverts; to practice the adjectives; to
improve discussion skills of how four photos could be used in advertisements.
Objective (s): by the end of the lesson, students will have:

 expanded their range of vocabulary in the context of adverts and advertising


 practised extracting specific information from reading and listening texts
 focused on accuracy and fluency in speaking

Learning outcome (s): student are able to use new vocabulary; to extract specific
information from reading and listening texts; to practice accuracy and fluency in
speaking.
