Charles Babbage

Charles Babbage was born in London, Southwark on December 26 th, 1791 in the morning, one day
of spring. His nacionality was English but his citizenship was British. His parents were Isabelle Lewis
and Harry Babbage. He had one sister and one brother. He liked read in his free time and listened
to classical music, He was vegetarian, he didn't eat meat, fish or chicken but he liked to eat fruits
and vegetables he loved apples and cucumbers. One afternoon when he left school, he got a letter
from the University, he studied at Peterhouse and the University of Cambridge, he was an
excellent student then a great professional. Babbage, was interested in the fields of Mathematics,
engineering, political economy and computer science. He worked at Trinity College and the
University of Cambridge. He was known for difference engine. Charles, was influenced by Robert
Woodhouse, Gaspar Monge and John Herschel. He usually wore jackets, pants, tie and shirts, but
when he was at home he wore shorts and t-shirts

He got married with Maria Julia Erikson, he created the first mechanical computer that eventually
led to more complex electronic designs. Unfortunately, he died on October 18 th, 1871 ( at 79), in
Marylebone, London, The Uk.
