F PEG-150 Polyglyceryl-2 Tristearate (and) Laureth-3 (and) Thickener 4.00 %

G Citric Acid/ Sodium Hydroxide (20%) Neutralizer q.s. pH to 5.30-5.50

Procedure
I Mix Phase A and heat up to 45°C until dissolved.
II Mix Phase B and heat up to 70°C until dissolved.
III Add C into II and add I into II.
IV Add D into III.
V Add Glycerin into IV.
V Add Genapol® LT in VI
VI Mix I to VII
VIII Adjust the pH with Citric Acid or Sodium Hydroxide to 5.30-5.50.

Results Appearance:
pH:5,30 - 5,50 Slightly yellow, blurry-to-clear liquid
Viscosity (Brookfield, 25°C1 2 rpm, sp 3): Stability:
4000 – 8000 mPas Results according to 3M, NC to 45oC Stability testing
*Recommended Preservation was checked by a Challenge-Test according to European Pharmacopoeia.
Challenge Test Results with Various Preservative Percentages:
1,20 % Nipaguard SCE: Pass A
1,40 % Nipaguard SCE: Pass A
0,50 % Nipaguard POB: Pass A
0,80 % Nipaguard POB: Pass A
1,00 % Nipaguard POB: Pass A
