What does the team do?

• We are responsible for designing, implementing & managing a low latency, high throughput,
near-real-time, distributed data pipeline & data-warehouse with a global audience of internal &
external users.
• The data-warehouse is focused on various ad-performance and revenue metrics across a large
number of dimensions.
• We are responsible for accounting and auditing of revenue flowing throughout the system and
ensuring accurate pay outs.
• We build tools/frameworks to address generic data engineering problems like cross-platform
data movement or querying nested data.
• We are responsible for master data management which enables ad-serving in different
geographies.
• Tech Stack - MS SQL Server, Kafka, Java, Python, Mongodb etc.
What is in it for you?
• You would be expected to be hands-on technically, irrespective of their current role or
• experience.
• End-to-end product ownership including architecture, design, execution and management of a
large and complex platform built on top of RDBMS(MS SQL Server).
• Writing complex SQL or elaborate procedures that can give split second responses.
• Developing scripts/modules for crawling/pulling data from external/internal sources using
standard programming languages (Java,Python).
• Building generic tools/frameworks for solving data engineering problems such as cross-platform
data movement using stream processing platform (kafka) or querying nested data using nosql
store (mongodb).
• Continuous research & development on emerging technologies for upgrading existing systems
or building new tools/frameworks/systems to support ever-evolving data needs.
Who should apply for this role ?
Experience
• 1-3 years experience in Data Engineering field.

Must Have
• Experience in database design, data modelling, optimizations & in-depth knowledge of core
RDBMS concepts.
• Expert knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in building elaborate ETL workflows for crunching tera/peta bytes of data.
• Deep knowledge on internals of indexes and performance management of datastores.
• Experience in architecting, optimizing and maintaining large data-warehouses (tera/peta bytes).
• Experience in at least one Programming Language (e.g Java/Python/Scala).

Good to Have
• Hands on Knowledge of Stream Processing Platforms (e.g. Kafka)
• Hands on Knowledge of NoSQL datastores (e.g. MongoDB)
• Hands on knowledge of Big Data Systems (e.g. HDFS, Spark, Hive, Druid etc).
