1. Do you think Ratan should keep the car low, what should the company do to keep

the cost low?

Answer:

• The demand in the market did not reach what the company expected, however, for

some it was an excellent option, but for the majority they preferred greater comfort

and preferred to pay more. Ratan should not keep such a low cost if not see what

people prefer, something accessible but not enter the cheap car competition would

be excellent if it was only in between.

• In order to keep costs low, the company must maintain the same cost of expenses

because the demand is not great and the expenses increase, it will have to increase

the cost.

2. Although there is limited information about the case, do you think it would be

smart marketing to advertise a cheap car like the Tata Nano alongside the luxury

Jaguar?

Answer:

• That was not a decision as a good company because they, as a large company, are

in all their duty to always advertise cars that satisfy the needs of each buyer, in

wanting to obtain a luxury car with good durability. When announcing a cheap car

like Tato Nano, they should think about the great criticism that would be made of it
as a company. It wasn't a pleasant decision, but it mostly resolved itself. although it

was harshly criticized.

3. Do you think a low-priced Nano will be successful in the US market? Would you

be interested in a car with these characteristics? Why?

Answer:

• The factor that most attracts attention about this model is its cost, extremely low,

to date the tata nano is considered a failure. Experts have suggested to the Tata

company a folding version of the Tata Nano that could have a great impact in the

US and Latin American markets. Therefore, I doubt it will be successful in the US

market. Yes, I would be interested since it is a car with an affordable price and all

its necessary characteristics to fulfill its function. As its price, fuel savings
