conclusions during visit of The Director/ Hydel Sir
Following points are instructed by The Director/ Hydel Sir Hydel
1. The reassemble of Pilot, Main exciters and Governor Alternator will not
take place and the runner oil header assembly shall be accommodated just
above the generator slip rings for both Unit-1&2. Hence necessary
modifications shall be taken care accordingly by M/s Voith.
2. The UAT of unit 2 output 415V shall be extended to common service board
directly through existing colony breaker can be used as incomer breaker
by bypassing the Unit Auxiliary Board 2 at Turbine floor to enable the
dismantling works of turbine floor auxiliaries, 11 KV switch gear panels,
excitation panels, UAB panels, generators and turbines of unit 1 and 2.
3. UAT and GT protection relays, Breaker trip coil supervision relays, breaker
remote ON/OFF switch shall be dismantled from MCR and same shall be
accommodated in LT panels room to enable to dismantling works of all
relay panels, GT tap changer panels, GT breaker control panels,
synchronizing panels, voltage regulator panels and annunciation panels of
unit 1 and 2.
4. Previously 33KV XLPE cable was proposed for SAT HV side as the 33kv
height of the terminals are very low from ground. But during discussion it is
concluded that, over head ACSR conductor will be sufficient from taping the
33 KV line bus.
5. The over head ACSR conductor shall be laid diagonally from 33KV
switchyard SAT post insulator end to 500KVA SAT bay.
6. Painting works for Generator Transformers 1&2 shall be carried out.
7. Painting works for generator barrel cover shall be carried out.
8. Entire power house painting shall be carried out.
9. Providing the platform for GT On Load Tap Changer panel of unit 1 and 2
shall be constructed to operate the OLTC locally.
10.Retaining wall shall be reconstructed at damaged area at an earliest and
also strengthening works shall be carried out.
11.Seepage water from pond shall be diverted.
