1. INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this training package is to present the course outline and details syllabus for a type
course on DIAMOND DA42 aircraft (B1.1 and B2 Trade) with
2. BACKGROUND
ADMAL Aviation College is a local private institution dedicated for education and training in the
field related to aviation engineering in Malaysia. The main objective of the college is to provide quality
education ion aviation engineering discipline in both knowledge and technical “know-how”. The college is
set-up to be in compliance with both the Ministry of Higher Education MOHE and the Department of Civil
Aviation DCA of Malaysia requirements for its education and training approval.
ADMAL Sdn. Bhd. was founded by a group of younger and eager entrepreneurs in 2001 and
headed by very vast experienced personals in the aviation industry. Currently, ADMAL owns 14 aircraft
ranging from Piper Cherokees to Boeing 737s. ADMAL also currently supports 28 client’s aircraft under
the service and maintenance contract. The company has established more than 10 years of experience.
ADMAL Sdn. Bhd. is also an Approved Maintenance Organization by CAA Malaysia under Approval No.
AO/243/14 for capabilities of maintaining aircraft below 2750 kg. Also recently, ADMAL Sdn. Bhd. Has
successfully completed the audit from DGCA Indonesia and is an Approved Maintenance Organization
under Approval No. 145/928.
The type course training shall be carried out at Admal Aviation College located at Bandar Baru Salak
Tinggi, Sepang for the whole duration of the type course. Sufficient class room and required facilities shall
be provided.
The examination of the type course shall be conducted at Admal Aviation College located at Bandar Baru
Salak Tinggi, Sepang. The examination is conducted after the completion of the type course training.
Sufficient examination place and required facilities shall be provided during the whole examination period.
In compliance with DCAM AN 1101 Appendix 3, details of course syllabus as per Appendix A.
Mr Shamsul Kamar bin Samsudin and Abdul Razeef Bin Abu Bakar is a knowledgeable engineer having
work experience of more than 5 years on various light aircraft including DIAMOND DA42 aircraft. Please
refer APPENDIX B for the complete Curricula Vitae.

At the end of this course, the student will comply with the requirement of DCA Malaysia Airworthiness
Notices (AN) 1101 App 3, with the completion of Level 3 Training, the student will be able to:
1. Demonstrate a theoretical knowledge of aircraft systems and structures and interrelationships with
other systems, provide a detailed description of the subject using theoretical fundamentals and
specific examples and to interpret results from various sources and measurements and apply
corrective action where appropriate.
2. Perform system, engine, component and functional checks as specified in the aircraft maintenance
manual.
3. Demonstrate the use, interpret and apply appropriate documentation including instructions for
continued airworthiness, maintenance manual, structural repair manual, troubleshooting manual,
illustrated parts catalogue, etc.
4. Correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect of fault diagnosis and
rectification to maintenance manual level.
