Biography

Steve Jobs:

He was born in San Francisco, California on February 24, 1955. He was given up for adoption
and was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs.

One of his favorite hobbies was working with electronics in his garage with his dad. When he
was thirteen, he meets Steve Wozniak. Wozniak was also into electronics and two boys
became friends.

Steve in high school, he saw the class boring, so he spent it taking a job with video game maker
Atari, and he became more and more interested in philosophy. He quit his job and took a trip
to India to find “enlightenment”. After traveling through India he returned to California, to
work for Atari.

Jobs began hanging out with Wozniak again and two of them were very interested in
computers. Wozniak became an electronic genius and created his own computer. Jobs was
surprised and proposed to create his own company and Wozniak said yes. In 1976, they
founded the company Apple Computer and called their first computer the Apple 1, Jobs was
just 21 years old at the time.
