Unit-1: Introduction to Entrepreneurship: Definition of Entrepreneur Entrepreneurial Traits.

Entrepreneur vs Manager, creating and starting the venture: sources of new ideas, method of
generating ideas, creative problem solving – writing business plan, evaluating business plans.
Launching formalities.

Unit-2: Organisational Assistance to an entrepreneur: New Ventures, Industrial, Special

Economic Zone, Financial assistance by different agencies, MSME Act Small Scale Industries,
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC);

Unit-3: Startup: Translating Business Model into Startup- Gaining marketing Intelligence,
Development Processes, Business Plan & Startup-I, Obtaining Business Licenses and permits

Unit4-: Project Management: Concept of Project and classification of Project, Identification,

Project Formulation, Project Design: Project Appraisal, Profitability Appraisal, Project Planning,
