Flip2 Airplay Set-Up

In case of AirPlay unsupported Flip 2,

three items appear under Support and
Connect section.

Connect the USB with the new Firmware,
Proceed to software update under Support Section
 After update completed, “Terms and
Newly added
Conditions” item will be added
Make sure to check if Flip’s network is connected to
external Internet network and your Apple device is
connected to the same WiFi Access Point with the
Flip.
You can change the default device name for your
convenience
Click “Terms and Conditions”
If Flips is connected to external internet, it
downloads Terms and Conditions Privacy Policy
without any problems. If you are not able to
see Terms and Conditions Privacy Policy, then
you need to check the external connection of
Flip2

After Flip2 downloads Privacy Policy, you need

to agree on this, otherwise you are not able to
use AirPlay

Apple device and Flip must be connected to

the external Internet network in order to use
AirPlay.

After agreeing T&C at first time.

Reboot Flip Set.
A few minutes later, “Apple AirPlay Settings”
will appear under Connect section.

Downloading may take several minutes

according to the condition of external internet
connection.

After first installation of AirPlay, Flip2

automatically downloads AirPlay app updated
(basically, you need to agree on Privacy Policy)

After agreeing T&C and Reboot.

Apple Airplay Settings is not shown in 5 min.
Please reboot Flip again.
※ After Rebooting of Flip2, AirPlay takes time to be ready

After rebooting of Flip2, AirPlay menu could be gray, it means that

AirPlay is not ready.
In this case, you need to wait for 90 seconds until AirPlay meu
turns out black.
To connect to Flip2 from Apple devices, you need to select “Screen Mirroring” on Apple devices
and find the name of Flip2 and click.

In Flip Menu, Apple Airplay Settings is black, But not connected still. Please Reboot Flip.
After selecting Flip2, you can find 4 digit number
on Flip2.
Put 4 digit number on Apple devices.
If you run Youtube on Apple devices,
the footage of Youtube only plays in Flip2.
You are able to use “Capture” while you run AirPlay
on Flip2, but you are not able to use “Capture” while
playing video(encrypted by Apple devices like Youtube)
on Flip2 because of Apple’s Intellectual Property policy.
Flip2 supports Full Size and PIP screen both on Landscape and and
vertical mode
Touch Feedback only supports Play, Stop, moving movie players,
subtitles and Airplay Setting on AirPlay(it is Apple’s policy)
but there is no limitation of Touch Feedback with Android devices
You can find all of fine controls in Apple Airplay Setting
under Connect section
You can change the size of PIP and location and annotate on it
To end AirPlay, click “X” on PIP screen or click “Stop Mirroring”
on apple devices
