HOSPITAL / CRITICAL CARE APPLICATION OR DEVICE

Device name: WatchMe

Group 4

OVERVIEW

WatchMe is a medical product that can be adapted to different environments; It is not only
suitable for home healthcare, but also for the medical environment. The greatest feature of
WatchMe is that it is truly multifaceted. It functions as a health tracker (just like a wearable
sensor), it records your heart rate (HR) , measures your blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), the
number of steps you take a day, serves as a thermometer, a blood pressure tracker and a
medication reminder. It is also an app-based food journal that monitors the proper diet of the
patient, and a sleep monitor that can also detect sleep apnea, the duration of your REM cycle,
how long it takes you to fall asleep and figure out if you have a snoring problem. It’s quite an
all-in-one package. Needless to say, it is portable, very light, hand-held and transfers data
wirelessly. The easy-to-wear device is much more comfortable and convenient, especially for
those who demand the best recovery and chronic care at home. With all these, WatchMe could
provide quick health evaluations that can be performed even by the patient him/herself, and
then reviewed by a physician from a remote location. WatchMe is deemed ideal for
telemedicine purposes, providing a “convenient bridge between doctors, caregivers and
patients.” On the other hand — in Home mode — users get to benefit from the Daily Check
function to check their health at routine time.
