India has been known for its cultural, spiritual, and traditional
values. Indians has their own traditional form of medicines, science
art and culture. However, after being colonized by Britishers and with
the advent of multiple foreign invaders, the influence of invading
country started to be felt. However, this influence was localised.
Around 18th/19th century modern mode of transportation,
communication got invented which facilitated easier and faster
movement of people globally, thereby influencing the local societies,
This influence started to increase with increasing awareness and with
the improvement in socio-economic condition, so much so that urban
centres started to resemble in many aspects like west, hence being
termed as Hubs of west.

Before I begin, what do I mean by "the west?" I'm attempting to

indicate a group of First World countries such as the United States,
Canada, Europe and likes. We call them "The West", because they are
considered developed due to their better socio-economic condition
and advent of industrialisation which reached there much earlier than
3rd work country like India.

In the 20th century, with the invention of computer, internet there
was an IT revolution led by west and a race to compete and move
ahead started within the western countries, which required immense
amount of manpower. India, due to its large young population quickly
adapted to the requirement and started providing human capital across
the globe, thereby resulting in establishment of various IT hubs across
the country. As IT hubs spread across the country, the awareness &
socio-economic condition of the young population also increased.

All of these elements combined allow India to simply act as a

solenoid for international investment; we saw a simple example of
this in the current dispute between Amazon and Reliance over Future
Group's assets. The battle culminated in a $635 billion (42 lakh crore)
open stake. This is especially significant because it was fought
between a first-world firm and a local giant. Instead, it was Jeff
Bezos' undivided commitment to closing the deal that piqued people's
curiosity.

Let us use Bengaluru as a case study. Bengaluru is home

to a considerable number of IT industries along with educational and
research institutions that support and advance the ecosystem.
According to a studymatters.in’s analysis, these institutes are
responsible for the city's tremendous number of entrepreneurial and
worker ability. These institutions also act as early adopters of the
goods and services influences by west but offered by technological
start-ups, providing mentoring and irregular market support.
Bengaluru has become an epicentre for startups, The establishment of
these institutions encouraged young and brilliant brains to congregate
in one city, Bengaluru. Once Bengaluru began to flourish, India saw
the quick expansion of the startup industry, the earliest of which was
Tata Consultancy Services (Opened in 1968), which is now one of the
largest public sector employers in the world, with over 600,000

people worldwide. All this has led to young urban population being
influenced by the west and leading to urban center being recognised
as the hubs of the west.

All of these developing businesses attracted foreign investment, and

corporations such as Apple, which recently obtained an agreement
with Vedanta to operate as Foxconn, this deal was worth $20 billion
and is a clear indication of how India is operating as the West's ideal
destination to sell.

India is a rising economy and nation with the ability to reach the peak
on a global scale if well-led. We already have the benefit of
population expansion, which will propel our country forward in the
future.
