I received your request on behalf of presidential candidate Representative Michele

questions with the Office of Government Ethics and to ensure that Representative
Bachmann's report is complete and accurate.
Pursuant to 5 C.P.R. 2634.201(f), I have granted Representative Bachmann an
additional extension of 45 days to file her OGE Form 278 report. Accordingly, her report
is due by the close ofbusiness on Thursday, October 6, 2011.
As a reminder, under 2634.201(f), Form 278 filers may be granted up to two 45-
day extensions of time for filing. Accordingly, I will be unable to grant any further

This firm represents Bachmann for President. As authorized by 5 CFR 2634.201(), we sought
and obtained from the Commission an extension of time, until August 22, 2011, to file
Representative Michele Bachmann's SF-278. We must seek an additional45-day extension, also
as authorized by section 2634.201 (f), so that Representative Bachmann's financial disclosure
report would be due no later than October 6, 2011.
Although we have been working diligendy to obtain the required information, we need additional
time to discuss some disclosure questions with the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) and to
ensure that the SF-278 is complete and accurate.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
