Situation
Working in a team has many advantages. Give examples of some advantages of working in a
team.

Candidate A : You have to give a presentation to your class. Talk about how working in a
team encourages the exchange of ideas.

team increases work efficiency.
Candidate C : You have to give a presentation to your class. Talk about how working in a
team strengthens relationships.
Candidate D : You have to give a presentation to your class. Talk about how working in a
team reduces stress.

Candidate B's script

Good morning to the examiner and my fellow friends. Today, I’m going to talk about how
working in a team increases work efficiency. To begin with, in a team, workloads are shared
among the team members with different skills and experiences’. Therefore, the details of the
works would never get overlooked as it definitely can affect the task overall. Each member
can inspect the other’s work too and tell the certain members to fix the task to be more
accurate. As a result, a team can ensure that there are no mistakes made in tasks and
assignments.
Secondly, working in a team will minimise delay. This is because, as members join power
to do a better job in their work, they can shorten the time and finish their work before
datelines. The members will always remind each other not to postpone their parts of the
work as fast as they can without any mistake. Thus, the work can be completed and be
handed in before the deadlines.
On top of that, working in a team increases work efficiency as strong communication are
built while they work together. When, there are problems occur, members will give help to
solve the problems together. From my perspective, a very strong communication within
members in a team can be established by making sure that there is no member being left
out during discussions. As a result, the members will be more comfortable with each other.
