STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

NAME : JONITA SHANON J

PROGRAM: B.A INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT

I, Jonita Shanon J was born on 4th March, 2003 in Kollam, Kerala, India would like to apply for B.A
International Management at the IU International University of Applied Science, Berlin, Germany. I see
that getting a Bachelor’s degree from the International University of Applied Science will be a great boost
for my career, which would help me to achieve my ambition.

I have done my secondary school education from G.A.S.H.S.S Puthenthura in the year 2018 in which I
have secured 1st class. I completed my higher secondary education from the same school G.A.S.H.S.S
Puthenthura , in the year 2020. After completing of higher secondary education, I decided to work as an
accountant in Amanuensys technology solutions from September 15 th 2020 till August 22nd 2022. As a
part time I was studying German language for about 6 months by my own. I studied the basic levels of
German language, so it would be very helpful to come to Germany and start my Bachelors.

After a deep research and discussing with my family I have decided to pursue International Management
course which will open a plenty of opportunities for me. I strongly believe that taking a Bachelor’s in
International Management will help me divert my career path towards the towards the field of
management and fulfill my ambition. I am hard working and optimistic and strongly believe in
maintaining ethical integrity in all my endeavors. My family stands beside me and motivates me to
achieve my goal.

I always wanted to work in the field of Management . Getting a Bachelor’s in International Management
will aid me to acquire the essential knowledge, skill set, competency and critical awareness necessary for
starting a career in Management industry. After completing this course, I will be able to learn, How to
develop business strategies, drive growth, and enables smooth operations between partners and I can also
gain extensive knowledge in marketing, sales, public relations, accounting, finance and controlling and
HR. With English as my language of instruction I can improve my skills in the most popular language for
business that’s used all over the world.

Germany has been the preferred education destination for some of the best minds in the world. The
universities in Germany offer world- class degrees to help us prepare and succeed in our careers. In recent
years, Germany has become one of the most popular places to study for International students. To be
more precise, it is the third most popular destination! No wonder thousands of young international
students are deciding to pursue their studies in Germany. German universities are famous for delivering
high-quality education, a lot of these universities even rank among the best in the world. By choosing to
study in Germany, I can be very sure to get an education that is well above the global average, which will
come in very useful when looking for a job after graduation.

To be able to pursue a course of one’s interest itself is, I believe a great accomplishment. But to be able
to do with under aegis of a well established university would mean ensuring oneself with an excellent
all-encompassing journey to one’s dreams all that I have come to know at the International University of
Applied Science makes me see in it, the same possibility. How the university persistently addressed the
demands of the times and kept turn expanding and renewing it, and how it continues to do the same, is
quite admirable. Since IU puts major emphasis on practical experience and prepares me for all positions
we can benefit through field trips guess lectures etc. It’s speaks of the commitment of this place ti its
educational goal and promises. Knowing that this place harbors highly qualified professors to guide its
students, and some of the best educational opportunities has also obviously influenced by decision to
apply here.

After the succesful completion of my Bachelor’s, I intend to utilize my newly acquired competences to
stimulate economic growth in my home country. I expect to have an overall development in my ability
and attitude. Since my course will make me understand and learn about management as a whole, it will
help me out in improving my ability to be with people and help them in their work.

I hope that u will grant me the privilege to pursue a Bachelor’s in International Management from your
prestigious university.
