Definition of terms

Reading – reading is the process of taking in the sense or meaning of letters, symbol, etc.,

especially by sight or touch.

Comprehension – the action or capacity if understanding something.

Reading Comprehension – is the ability to read text, process it and understand its meaning.

Academic Performance – is the extent to which a student, teacher, or institution has attained

their short or long-term educational goals and its measured either by continuous assessment or

cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
