It has different types: Patent, Copyright, Trademark, Design, Database and Trade secret
2.) Copyright Law
- Copyright law is a mandate originated from the United States which is known as the Republic Act No. 8293 in the Philippines. This law grants exclusive rights to an individual or a creator of an original piece of work. These includes literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works, such as poetry, novels, movies, songs, computer software, and architecture.
3.) Data Privacy Act

With a few exceptions, the Data Privacy Act applies to all persons and legal entities who process personal data especially in the Philippines. The law stipulates that when data is shared, it must be covered by a contract that provides reasonable safeguards for data subjects' rights, and that these contracts must be reviewed by the National Privacy Commission.
