1. Guling-guling Festival -
commemorate the 16th century old practice of the Spanish friars for the religious sector to
interact with its parishioners. It has always been celebrated on the Tuesday before Ash
Wednesday.
2. Tobacco Festival -
Celebrated during the cityhood anniversary, this festival is held to promote tobacco as the
major industry of the city. Activities include open street dancing competition, marching band
competition, Miss Virginia Tobacco, tobacco rolling, calamay (rice cake) eating contest, basketball
with celebrities, beach bikini open, concerts, singing contests, motocross, mountain bike
competition and boxing.
3. Dinengdeng Festival -
An Ilocano cuisine known as dinengdeng will be prepared in a large clay pot, and
contenders will compete to create the greatest version of it. This event celebrates the most
popular and cost-effective Ilocano food in the area. The Dinengdeng festival is held every year in
the town due of the richness of local foods.
