Scanning to SMB/FTP on Mac OS10.

1.) Open “System Preferences”

2.) Select “Sharing”
2.) Select “File Sharing”
3.) Select “Options”

- Then, depending on how you are scanning, select “SMB” or “FTP”.

4.) Select the account you are going to share the folder with and input a
password for the share.
5.) Select the folder you wish to share.
 6.) Assign “Read and Write” permissions to the user you created in the
previous step.

7.) Once these steps have been done, you will be able to set up Scan-to-SMB and
Scan-to-FTP on the MFP.
