To scan to SMB or FTP on a Mac, open System Preferences and select Sharing, then File Sharing. 4.) Select the account you are going to share the folder with and input a password for the share. 5.) Select the folder you wish to share. 6.) Assign “Read and Write” permissions to the user you created in the previous step.
7.) Once these steps have been done, you will be able to set up Scan-to-SMB and Scan-to-FTP on the MFP.
