Child Protection Officer (NOA) will: Objective 1: Effective implementation
and delivery of quality interventions in line with CP AWP 2022 • Conduct
training on the developed case management SoPs for case managers and
finalize the service mapping for the pending five governorates. • Provide
boys and girls with access to psychosocial support, through mobile and fixed
community spaces, community centers, schools, health facilities, etc. •
Support cross-sectorial GBViE prevention and risk mitigation interventions
(in coordination with other UNICEF sectors: WASH, Education, H&N, Social
Behavior Change) for girls, boys, women, and men Objective 2:
Management including planning, monitoring, reporting the child protection
program •Finalize the PSS, Case Management and GBV supply plan for
Sanaa FO ensure timely requesting, procurement and release of supplies to
implementing partners; End user utilization and monitoring of all supplies. •
Review and certify all PSS, Case Management and GBV payments requests,
assuring value for money, ensure timely release of funds, monitor
utilization, and release reports. • Participate in the planning process for the
CP Sanaa AWP. • Periodically conduct Joint Partnership Review meeting with
CP partners who signed agreements (SSFA, PCA & LoCs) covering PSS, Case
Management and GBV with Sanaa FO including conduct MYR and EYR
meetings with all CP partners and report needed adjustments in AWP
accordingly. • Ensure implantation of office assurance plan for PSS, Case
Management and GBV including Monthly Monitoring plans and Spot checks
required for CP are developed and reported • Update and ensure timely
reporting on progress in achieving the PSS, Case Management and GBV
targets of CP outputs as per Sanaa FO 2020AWP and with regards to funds
management pertaining to the CP activities. • Maintain accumulated
activity-info data for Sanaa FO implemented PSS, Case Management and
GBV interventions. • Provide PSS, Case Management and GBV inputs on
time to prepare 12 Sitereps, donor proposals and donor reports. Objective 3:
Effective support to leadership of the Child Protection Area of Responsibility
Task • Support conducting a monthly CP AoR meeting with timely submission of
description MoMs. • Support conducting the child protection and inter-cluster rapid
assessments and respond to emergencies in affected areas. • Contribute to
the periodic updates of the child protection emergency contingency plan
and procure CP contingency supplies. As relevant with support from cluster
coordinator. • Contribute to the capacity building of child protection sub
cluster members to conduct rapid assessments and report on child
protection issues. • Monitor the implementation of CPSC YHRP targets
related to PSS, Case Management and GBV • Any other related tasks as may
be required or assigned by the supervisor. * Results/expected outputs: As an
active UNICEF team member, efficient, timely, responsive, client-friendly
and high-quality support rendered to UNICEF and its beneficiaries in the
accomplishment of her/his functions, including: Objective 1: • # of social
workers and other key actors trained on case management, SOPs and
referral pathways • # of children and caregivers in conflict-affected areas
benefiting from resilience building activities • # of girls and boys men and
women provided with risk mitigation, prevention or response interventions
to address gender-based violence through UNICEF-supported programs
Objective2: • SFO interventions are planned and adjusted according to
emergency context changes including epidemic, displacements and natural
disasters, and the findings of the data collected, progress and needs. • CP
supplies planned are pre-positioned with partners on the ground. •
Payments at reviewed and liquidated on time and ensuring funds are spent
in line with Grant donors’ conditions. • Number of Quarterly Report, Mid-
year review and End of the Year review meetings conducted with shared
minutes. • Reporting tools, progress reports and success stories are in place
and maintained for several reporting purposes. • Number of field visits
conducted to project sites and followed up/closed action points with quality
of Monitoring reports submitted on time. • Inputs to the monthly Sitereps
prepared and submitted to section in timely manner. Objective 3: • # of
CPRAs/Intersectoral assessments reports. • # of contingency/preparedness
plans in place (Target one plane per governorate). • % of active cluster
members who provide child protection information/data on monthly basis to
UNICEF (Target is 90 %) • # of quarterly CP AoR 2022 YHRP progress report
(Target is 2 reports)

ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines;
• Desirable: valid national driver’s license and proven ability to drive manual
