METHOD STATEMENT FOR NON-STRUCTURAL CRACK REPAIR

BY CUTTING V-GROOVE AND SEAL WITH StoPox SK 21-S, Epoxy Mortar

1. Visually inspect and identify cracks.

2. Cut a V-groove along crack by using pneumatic chisel or other mechanical mean.

3. Remove dust, laitance and other loose particles from the hacked V-groove.

4. Mix StoPox SK 21-S that comes in two portions with a scrapper until it is uniform in colour.

5. Patch the V-groove with StoPox SK 21-S epoxy mortar and level with a scrapper.

6. Allow epoxy mortar to cure for 4-6 hours.

7. Make good the surfaces, if necessary.
