Updating a Panel Firmware

Steps to update the panel’s firmware

Process
1. From the customer information page on alarm.com dealer site navigate to the AirFXTM Legacy Toolkit

2. Under “Troubleshooting” navigate to “software update”

 3. Select the patch to apply (The latest patch will be defaulted) and click “upgrade”

4. The upgrade process will take between 5-15 minutes so you may need to circle back to confirm it was
successful.

Things to note:
1. The Panel Must be connected to wifi for a software update to be completed
2. If the panel is currently armed it will wait until the panel is disarmed before it initiates the update
process
3. If there is a poor or slow internet connection there may be delays and or failure in the upgrade process
4. The panel will reboot during this process
