Summing Up
D. Assimilation
Literature is full of values and has greatly influenced our
lives. It also nurtures one's personality and social skills as we learn
through the experiences of the characters in the story. It also empower
our deeper thoughts about overcoming life's struggling situations that
helps us connect and reflect to ourselves and to larger truths and ideas
in a society, and it leads us to social acceptance to open our minds to
reality and the differences that exist in the world on how we can accept,
respect, and appreciate what we have, just like the story of While the
Auto Waits that reminds us and teaches us the lesson that we don't
need to pretend or act like someone we are not, but rather be ourselves
and embrace what God's life has given us. “You can't hide who you are,
it will only ‘cause you pain.” “I am Me! and there's No Filter to that!” “Live
the beautiful, authentic truth inside your heart.”
