RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF NURSING

RESEARCH
The process of conducting an in-depth inquiry into a topic is known as research. Research entails
both the gathering of information and its subsequent examination. In its most basic terms,
research is an effort made to find answers to questions. Research is a methodical process for
investigating, validating, and enhancing recent findings and generating new information.
NURSING RESEARCH
Research in Nursing is research that is centered on the actual practice of nursing. Research in
nursing is an organized method that investigates the occurrence of events that are significant to
healthcare and to nursing. Research in nursing is an organized method of inquiry with the goal of
accumulating credible evidence on matters that are significant to the nursing profession, such as
nursing profession, education, management, and technology.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge is a collection of a person's skills that they have acquired after taking into
consideration their experiences. Knowledge is essential for gaining new perspectives and
information.
EVIDENCE-BASED-PRACTICE
Evidence-based practice refers to the process of making decisions about patient care with a focus
upon the most recent and relevant available evidence. It is a method for resolving issues that
arise in clinical practice that involves looking for and analyzing the most relevant evidence in
order to provide an answer to an important clinical question.
RESEARCHER
They were individuals who have sufficient levels of information to carry out research using that
degree of understanding.
