Describe my country :-

The name of our country is Kurdistan . It is a Muslim country . My city also called slimane , is a
city in the east of the Kurdistan region of Iraq ,however not far from the Iran – Iraq -border. It is
surrounded by the Azmer Range, Goyija Range and the Qaiwan Range in the northeast, Baranan
Mountain in the south and the Tasluja Hills in the west. But The city has a semi-arid climate with
very hot dry summers and cool wet winters. I would describe it as colourful, the people, the
music, the food, the history, the memories. The life lived there is all colourful and great. In
kurdistan we also have special holidays although that are not really celebrated anywhere else, an
example of some are the 'children day' which is just like Mother’s or Father’s day but for
children and it is celebrated on the 30th of April, we also have Newroz is the Kurdish celebration
of the Persian new year holiday on the 20th of March. And Kurdish cloth days . And flag days .
Slimane is beautiful in all ways and I hope one day you will be able to see for yourself! Slimane
is a very welcoming country with very beautiful and kind people that will all treat you like
family. Everyone is very lovely and we try to get together every weekend with all of our friends
and family. We have a lot of amazing food and my favourite is dolma, but we have lots of foods
that taste amazing like bryane, kalana (sweet bread), and many more! From its foundation
Sulaymaniyah was always a center of great poets, writers, historians, politicians, scholars and
singers, such as Nali, Mahui and Piramerd. The modern city of Sulaymaniyah was founded in
1784 by the Kurdish prince Ibrahim Pasha Baban, who named it after his father Sulaiman
Pasha.Sulaymaniyah was the capital of the historic principality of Baban from 1784 to 1850. My
two favorite things about Suliamani is the bazaar and the mountains.  I love to spend Saturdays
there, not just for shopping, but to experience the city.  For me, the bazaar is the heat of
Suliamani. The mountains surrounding Sulimani are incredible.   and I love to drive up in the
mountains for picnics, hiking, and long drives.  In the Spring, when everything is in bloom and
green, there is no better place on Earth . The Kurdistan region's economy is dominated by the oil
industry, agriculture and tourism.
