Colossians 1:1-8
The letter of Paul delivers a very important message to the people of Colossae: “To stay faithful
to our Lord, so, God continues to send His grace, in result, we can be in peace.” The crucial
portion is to give thanks to the Lord and have sense of gratitude for what He does in our lives
and for what who He is. The message for the Church would be that when we put trust in Christ,
we show up gratitude and consequently we live a life which is well lived out. We only do that we
have little bit of idea how future would look like. Like, the Church in Colossae, we in here, feel
less hope or helpless due to various political or bad financial status for future. It is a challenge.
Paul addresses this issue and suggest that alongside our struggle for joy and must have hope that
joy lies in eternity. The Gospel message of hope from this passage impact us in such a way that
we could make a positive response within our capacity. This is the message of change from
inside out as wholly. The message reaches when we love, give hope to His people as Paul did
here. We are called to convey the message of hope to the lost ones. We are assured that God’s
mercy is upon us continuously, so He uses us to be kind towards others. You can be the faithful
servant of Christ and assist further the glory and Kingdom of Christ because he immensely loves
us, this is our response. Our lives are example to show His wonders. All of us are not alone in
this process, because Holy Spirit empower and enable us to work for Him.
