The Effects of Hybrid Learning in College Students of Fellowship Baptist College

Introduction

Hybrid learning is an educational model where some students attend class in-person, while

others join the class virtually from home. It consists of face to face interactions, modular and online

learning. Its aim is to help other students specifically those who are in remote areas. It also provides

effective and efficient learning for all the students and to the school. According to a Klimova and

Kacetl (2014) the term hybrid learning, also known as blended learning, has been now commonly used,

particularly in corporate and higher education settings. The term itself is quite difficult to define since it

is used in diverse ways by different people.

The purpose of researcher to conduct this study is to rank the effects of hybrid learning in terms of

modular, face to face and online instructions and to examine the effects of Hybrid learning among

students.
Statement of the Problem

This study will be conducted to determine the effects of Hybrid learning in college students of

Fellowship Baptist College. Specifically this study sought to answer the following questions.

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, course, gender and level?

2. What is the common effects of Hybrid learning in college students of Fellowship Baptist College in

terms of modular, online and face to face learning?

3. What is the effects of Hybrid learning when grouped according to profile?

4. Is there any significant difference among students when grouped according to their profile.
