Letter of Recommendation for Turkey Scholarships
Bisma Farooq
Every year the government of Turkey announces various scholarship programs under the different disciplines
for international students. The purpose of these scholarships is to educate all the underprivileged yet deserving
candidates. Additionally, to maintain friendly bonding with other nations. But to apply for any Turkey
scholarship program, one has to comply with the stated eligibility criteria.
Similarly, a set of required documents is also obligatory to submit with the application form. These documents
play a significant role in the selection process of a candidate, like Statement of purpose, Intent letter, and Letter
of Recommendation, etc. However, the recommendation letter convinces the admission committee by
describing the candidate’s qualities, mentioned by a teacher in the letter.
Recommendation Letter:
It is a letter written by a teacher, counselor, or academic director to the admission committee. Here, a teacher
recommends the students for the applied scholarship by describing the qualities, skills, and potentials needed to
comply with the degree program.
It does not matter who writes this letter of recommendation. The only thing that matters is its authenticity and
construction. The recommendation letter must be brief and explain the student’s capabilities, diligence, and
skills impressively in a maximum of 300 to 400 words. Hence, always choose a teacher that knows your inner
strengths and talents.
