The line graph shows the consumption of fast food in gram in the USA from 1970 to 1990.
The line graph compares and contrasts data on the changes in the amount of fast food consumed in gram in America over a
period of 20 years between 1970 and 1990.
An overview of the line graph reveals that the figure for pizza witnessed a downward trend over the period surveyed while the
reverse was true for fish & chips and hamburger.
In 1970, the amount of pizza eaten was about 300 grams. After that, this figure saw a gradual drop to about 200 grams in 1985
before staying almost unchanged until 1990.
On the other hand, the figure for fish and chips was approximately 90 grams in the first year, which was higher than that of
hamburger, at nearly 30 grams. Subsequently, there was a steady growth to roughly 150 grams in the amount of fish and chips
consumed in 1980. Eventually, the last year experienced a dramatic rise to about 500 grams. Similarly, after undergoing a
steady climb to just over 100 grams in 1985, the consumption of hamburger rocketed to just under 300 grams in 1990.
