The Cavite State University in

1906
Indang started as the Indang
Intermediate School that was
established by the Thomasites.

The School hired two Filipino

1915
teachers due to the increase in
enrollment. A FILIPINO PRONCIPAL
NAMED dr. Mariano MondoNEDOWAS
HIRED

1918 THe school's name was changed


to indang farm school.

The school site was expanded with

the financial help of Indang
citizens, namely don Severino de
las alas and don Francisco
Ocampo.
When ms. simeon madlangsangkay
supervised the school as a principal, the

1923 name was changed into indang rural high


school. VOcational agriculture also
started to be offered.

1927
Home Economics was added to the
secondary courses.

In honor of don Severino's

contribution, the institution was
named as the don Severino
national school.

1964
As the bill authored by rep.
justiniano Montano sr., the school
was turned into a state college.
1967
In this year, santiago M. ROLLE was the
first appointed college president of the
campus.

Educational Projects Implementing Task Force (EDPITAF)
and the Bureau of Higher Education (BHE) of the
Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) as

achievements.

1998 On January 30, 1997, the College launched the Open
