 The Cavite State University in

1906
Indang started as the Indang
Intermediate School that was
established by the Thomasites.

The School hired two Filipino

1915
teachers due to the increase in
enrollment. A FILIPINO PRONCIPAL
NAMED dr. Mariano MondoNEDOWAS
HIRED

1918 THe school's name was changed

to indang farm school.

The school site was expanded with

1920's
the financial help of Indang
citizens, namely don Severino de
las alas and don Francisco
Ocampo.
 When ms. simeon madlangsangkay
supervised the school as a principal, the

1923 name was changed into indang rural high

school. VOcational agriculture also
started to be offered.

1927
Home Economics was added to the
secondary courses.

In honor of don Severino's

1958
contribution, the institution was
named as the don Severino
national school.

1964
As the bill authored by rep.
justiniano Montano sr., the school
was turned into a state college.
1967
In this year, santiago M. ROLLE was the
first appointed college president of the
campus.

Mr. vicente T. pinazo was the next

1971 college president and technical

in the Science Congress in Thailand in 1991 and

Additional non-degree courses were also offered

 On August 27, 1993, the College was designated by the

Educational Projects Implementing Task Force (EDPITAF)
and the Bureau of Higher Education (BHE) of the
Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) as

1993- the Regional College of Agriculture (RCA) for the

Southern Tagalog, in recognition of its potentials and
achievements.

1998 On January 30, 1997, the College launched the Open

University System which offered short-term courses to
various sectors.

A Ched supervised institution in the

2000 province of cavite was integrated

to the CVSU system via memo Order
No. 27 series of 2000

CHED SUPERVISED INSTITUTIONS IN THE PROVINCE,

resulting to the CAVITE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND
TRADE IN ROSARIO TO BE UNDER BY CVSU. After
few months, cavite city campus was
launched and operated as well.

The campus' mission and vision were
framed-up.

cvsu-carmona campus was
established

2003 cvsu-imus campus was established

2005 cvsu-trece campus was established

2006 cvsu-SILANG campus was
established

2007 cvsu-TANZA campus was established

2008 cvsu-BACOOR campus was
