WHAT DO WE China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a flagship
project of President Xi Jinping’s vision of Belt and

CPEC was formally launched in 2015 with the value of $46

billion. However, today, the cumulative value of all CPEC
projects has amplified considerably.

VISION & MISSION

01. Vision
The ambition and goal of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are to
connect the deep-water Pakistani ports of Gwadar and Karachi to
China's Xinjiang province and beyond, as well as to improve
connectivity, accelerate economic progress, and assure sustainable
development in Pakistan.

02. Mission
By becoming a source of transporting millions of tonnes of
products from China to the Middle East, Africa, and Europe via
Gwadar port, the CPEC has significant chances of strategically
integrating Pakistan and China. CPEC offers a variety of chances
for the socioeconomic development of landlocked Central Asian
countries in addition to benefits for Pakistan and China. It will also
increase regional trade and connectivity in South Asia. The
corridor will strengthen regional inter-human collaboration as well
as Pakistan's economic and political power.

The grandiose Belt and Road programme has been praised by

President Xi as the "Project of the Century," and CPEC is frequently
cited by pessimistic global observers as a sign of world peace,
prosperity, and socioeconomic advancement.
